I was thrilled to receive the call from Puglins inviting The Pug Snug to become part of their camps. It’s an amazing opportunity with an amazing group of pug loving people.

The Pug Snug went from a dream to a reality just 3 months ago when the idea was bounced off me by a very dear friend. My dream had always been living in the countryside surrounded by pugs! I had moved from the town to the countryside with my pug and this dream was about to come true!
The head of the household is Blossom. She is a 7 year old fawn pug who was rescued 3 years ago by All Animals Rescue and Rehome Essex as an ex-breeder. She is quite possibly the most laid back, chilled out pug there ever was. She is a very happy little girl who loves her food, treats and a good cuddle as well as her special teddy bear. Blossom is well known with tradespeople as being the supervisor as she loves to know exactly what is going on and will quite happily inspect any work being carried out! She has just had surgery for a luxating patella and ripped cruciate ligament, not that you would know by the way she is running around again, there is no keeping Blossom down! Her brother is Barney. He is a 10 year old small terrier cross recue from The Dogs Trust. I inherited him from my Mum and he is an honorary pug! Barney is a shy boy but loves to play and walk when he comes out of his shell.
I’ve previously had two other wonderful sweet pugs who also made me a proud Mummy; Florence known as Flo-Flo and Little Betty Spaghetti. I bought Flo-Flo from an unscrupulous breeder as she was no longer ‘producing’ and I grabbed her and got my little bundle of joy out of there as quickly as possible. Flo was a very poorly girl but was as tough as old boots and lived until the grand old age of 13. I gained a very wide range of medical experience and learning with her including lung disease, BOAS, hemivertebrae, pigmentation of the eyes, cruciate ligament detachment, incontinence, separation anxiety and removal of all teeth to name but a few. She was made of titanium however and just got on with life – she was incredible. My Little Betty Spaghetti was adopted through the PDWRA. She was the tiniest little girl you ever did see. However, what she lacked in statue she made up for in personality! Betty was the Boss from the moment she walked into the house! She was a paw stamper, told you exactly what she wanted, was hysterically funny, adored her food and was just the most wonderful, tiny little girl. Unfortunately she passed away just after Mum did. I have never had children. Pugs are my children. I’ve loved every one of my babies so much and I will love and commit to yours just the same.
The Pug Snug is located in a village called Great Barton, just 5 miles from the town of Bury St Edmunds in the Suffolk Countryside and 45 minutes from the coast. The property itself is surrounded by fields, woods and wildlife. It is very quiet, relaxing and tranquil. Last year I inherited this fabulous large house and gardens after loosing my wonderful Mum who would be over the moon with what I am doing. I have a lovely large garden with different sections for your pugs to explore and enjoy themselves, a lovely grassed area to play on and in the summer paddle in the puggling pools, paths and gravelled areas to wander to their hearts content and beds and a tent in shaded areas so your pugs can drift off in the warmth safely outside in the fresh air. Inside there are licki-mats and toys galore to play with or if its snoozes your pugs would like, chose one of the many beds, doggy chairs or the settee to relax back on and dream of bacon and cheese in a totally safe, loving and comfortable environment.
Full walks will be taken down the lane by the fields and if your pug is not able to walk far or unable then I have a lovely doggy pushchair so they don’t have to miss out on the fun.
My home is surrounded by cameras for security, has an intercom and is gated as well as being fenced off around the perimeter.
I will look after your babies as if they were my own, with the love, care and attention every pug deserves.
I really look forward to meeting you and your gorgeous pugs very soon and welcoming you to The Pug Snug!
